Numerator: Number of personnel who completed PSEA/safeguarding induction training and signed the code of conduct during the period

Denominator: Total number of personnel (staff, volunteers, partners) required to complete PSEA training in the period

Count personnel with both completed PSEA training and a signed code of conduct on file, divided by all personnel required to complete it.

Formula: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100

Means of verification

HR training records, signed code of conduct register, partner compliance records

Interpretation

Direction: Higher is better

Typical reporting frequency: Monthly or quarterly

Guidance & common pitfalls

Covers staff, volunteers and implementing-partner personnel; training completion is a process safeguard and should be paired with functioning reporting and response mechanisms.

This library is a curated reference to adapt, aligned generically with recognised humanitarian frameworks (Sphere, cluster registries, IASC, CHS and others). It is not an official indicator registry — always use the exact indicator definitions your donor or cluster requires.
