Definition & calculation
Numerator: Number of planned shelter site/technical inspections (covering covered living space per person and construction safety) completed by their scheduled date
Denominator: Total number of shelter site/technical inspections planned in the workplan for the reporting period
Divide the number of scheduled shelter inspections completed on time by the total number planned in the workplan for the period, multiplied by 100.
Formula: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100
Means of verification
Construction supervision workplan and inspection tracker
Interpretation
Direction: Higher is better
Typical reporting frequency: Per activity cycle / continuous
Guidance & common pitfalls
A process/timeliness measure of supervision and quality assurance; on-schedule inspections check minimum covered floor area per person and structural safety, but completing an inspection does not by itself indicate that standards were met.
