Definition & calculation
Numerator: Number of surveyed MPCA recipients who report being satisfied or very satisfied with the transfer value AND, separately, with the delivery/collection process
Denominator: Total number of MPCA recipients surveyed
Collect satisfaction on a standard scale for transfer adequacy and for delivery experience as two separate items; report each sub-component and, where a combined figure is used, count recipients satisfied on both.
Formula: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100
Means of verification
Post-distribution monitoring, recipient satisfaction survey
Interpretation
Direction: Higher is better
Typical reporting frequency: Baseline, midline and endline (or annual)
Guidance & common pitfalls
Report value and process satisfaction separately as the primary figures — a single combined score is double-barrelled and can mask problems with cash-out points, fees, or distance for specific groups. Watch for courtesy bias.
