Numerator: Number of school-aged children in the target population enrolled in and regularly attending a supported formal or non-formal learning environment during the reporting period

Denominator: Estimated total number of school-aged children in the target population, derived from population data or a needs assessment

Divide the number of target children enrolled in and regularly attending supported learning environments by the estimated total number of school-aged children in the target area, then multiply by 100.

Formula: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100

Headline access/coverage measure for EiE. Define the age band and what counts as 'accessing' (enrolled vs. regularly attending) up front, and deduplicate children participating in more than one modality. Quality and safety of provision are captured by separate indicators, so keep this one limited to access.
