Definition & calculation
Numerator: Number of assessed learners whose literacy or numeracy score improved by a pre-defined margin (or reached a grade-level benchmark) between baseline and endline
Denominator: Total number of learners assessed at both baseline and endline (matched panel)
Administer a comparable learning assessment at two points to a matched panel of learners and calculate the share meeting the pre-defined improvement or benchmark threshold.
Formula: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100
