Indicator

% of assisted households that received their full intended entitlement (correct quantity/value and quality)

Definition & calculation

Numerator: Number of sampled assisted households confirming at post-distribution monitoring that they received the complete ration or transfer value in the correct commodity mix and quality

Denominator: Total number of assisted households sampled at post-distribution monitoring

Divide the number of sampled households confirming receipt of the full, correct entitlement by the total sampled, expressed as a percentage.

Formula: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100

Means of verification

Post-distribution monitoring (PDM) survey, distribution reconciliation records

Interpretation

Direction: Higher is better

Typical reporting frequency: Monthly or quarterly

Guidance & common pitfalls

Measures delivery accuracy/quality, not adequacy of the ration itself; triangulate self-reported receipt with distribution reconciliation records and define 'full entitlement' against the planned ration or transfer value in advance. Aligned with Sphere and CHS quality standards.

This library is a curated reference to adapt, aligned generically with recognised humanitarian frameworks (Sphere, cluster registries, IASC, CHS and others). It is not an official indicator registry — always use the exact indicator definitions your donor or cluster requires.
