Number

Indicator

Number of farming households that received qualifying agricultural inputs and/or completed technical training

Definition & calculation

Count households that received at least one qualifying agricultural input package (e.g. seeds, tools, fertiliser, livestock) or completed a defined technical training, deduplicated across activities so a household receiving both is counted once.

Means of verification

Input distribution records, training attendance sheets, beneficiary registers

Interpretation

Direction: Higher is better

Typical reporting frequency: Monthly or quarterly

Guidance & common pitfalls

Disaggregate by sex of household head where household-level counts are used; specify the input package so quantity/quality can be assessed separately, and do not double-count a household under both inputs and training. Aligned with Food Security Cluster and Sphere output conventions.

This library is a curated reference to adapt, aligned generically with recognised humanitarian frameworks (Sphere, cluster registries, IASC, CHS and others). It is not an official indicator registry — always use the exact indicator definitions your donor or cluster requires.
