Definition & calculation
Numerator: Number of surveyed caregivers reporting they were satisfied or very satisfied with the nutrition services received (treatment, waiting time, staff respect, information provided)
Denominator: Total number of caregivers of children in the treatment programme surveyed
Through exit interviews or a periodic survey, calculate the proportion of caregivers rating overall service satisfaction positively on a defined scale, triangulated with feedback mechanism data.
Formula: (Numerator ÷ Denominator) × 100

Mitigate courtesy bias by using neutral enumerators (not treating staff) and specific sub-questions; interpret alongside a functioning complaints and feedback mechanism to capture accountability, not only satisfaction scores.
