Overview
Education Above All is a Qatar-based global foundation. Its Educate A Child (EAC) programme works through implementing partners to enrol and retain out-of-school children, and reports enabling more than 14.8 million children to access education across 78 countries in MENA, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Related programmes include Al Fakhoora, which supports higher education for youth in vulnerable communities including refugees and internally displaced people, and Together, its advocacy programme.
How to apply
There is no open call. The route is:
- Read the partnership types on the Become A Partner page and check your project against the EAC criteria.
- Download and complete the Potential Partner Enquiry Form.
- Email it to eacpartners@eaa.org.qa.
Proposals that progress go through technical review, validation site visits and due diligence appraisal before any partnership is recommended. Projects must rate high or medium on every evaluation criterion to be considered.
Check this before you start
EAA works on a co-funding model: partners carry 50% of project costs, with the possibility of a further 25% raised in co-financing. If your organization cannot bring half the budget, the enquiry form is not worth completing.
Practical note
Partnerships are built around measurable enrolment and retention of children who are currently out of school — a narrower definition than general education programming. Proposals that cannot evidence out-of-school status at baseline do not fit the model.
Always confirm eligibility, amounts and deadlines on the donor's own page before applying.
